1. Who We Are

ChaseCulture is an Australian trading card game (TCG) community platform — a website, Discord server, companion app (ChaseCultureComp), and browser extension (ChaseCulture Auto-Open) — helping collectors track restocks, find events, and connect with vendors across Australia. By using any part of ChaseCulture, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use ChaseCulture, matching Discord's own minimum age requirement. If you are under 18, you should have a parent or guardian's permission before subscribing or making any purchase.

3. Accounts

• Sign-in: ChaseCulture uses Discord OAuth for sign-in. You are responsible for keeping your Discord account secure — anyone with access to your Discord account can access your ChaseCulture account.
• One account per person: Accounts are personal to you and may not be sold, shared, or transferred.
• Accuracy: Information you provide (including vendor profile details) must be accurate and not misleading.

4. Membership Tiers & Founders Access

ChaseCulture currently offers Subscriber and Vendor access free of charge during our launch period, under a "Founders" program. This is provided at no cost on a goodwill basis and may be changed to a paid subscription in the future, with reasonable notice given to existing Founders members beforehand. We do not guarantee free access will continue indefinitely.

5. Vendor Profiles & Applications

• Creating a vendor profile does not guarantee approval or public visibility. We review applications to verify genuine vendors and may approve, reject, or request more information at our discretion.
• Vendors must provide accurate information, including any shows/events they claim to have attended.
• We may remove or unapprove a vendor profile at any time if we reasonably believe the information provided is false, misleading, or the vendor is engaged in fraudulent conduct.
• ChaseCulture is a directory and discovery platform — we are not a party to any transaction between a vendor and a member, and we are not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of items sold by vendors.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: scrape or bulk-extract data from ChaseCulture without permission; use the platform to harass, defraud, or mislead other members or vendors; upload content that is illegal, obscene, or infringes someone else's rights; attempt to gain unauthorised access to accounts or systems; or use automated means to generate fake engagement (follows, event RSVPs, vendor applications, etc.).

7. Restock Alerts & Third-Party Retailers

ChaseCulture monitors publicly available stock information from third-party retailers to notify members of potential restocks. We do not control retailer websites, stock accuracy, or pricing, and we are not responsible for a retailer selling out, cancelling an order, or any issue arising from a purchase you make on a retailer's site. Alerts are provided on a best-effort basis with no guarantee of timeliness or accuracy.

8. Affiliate Links & Disclosure

Some links on ChaseCulture (including to retailers such as eBay) are affiliate links. If you click one and make a purchase, ChaseCulture may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This helps fund the platform's development and hosting. We only link to products we believe are genuinely relevant to the TCG community.

9. Intellectual Property

The ChaseCulture name, logo, Ashlyn mascot, and site design are owned by ChaseCulture. Trading card names, artwork, and brands referenced on this site (Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Disney Lorcana, One Piece Card Game, etc.) are trademarks of their respective owners, and ChaseCulture is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any of them.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

ChaseCulture is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any restock alert, event listing, or vendor claim is accurate or complete. To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, ChaseCulture is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the platform, including missed restocks, event cancellations, or disputes with vendors. Nothing in these Terms excludes any consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to ChaseCulture at any time if you breach these Terms, including but not limited to fraudulent vendor applications, abusive conduct, or attempts to circumvent platform security.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms as ChaseCulture evolves. Material changes will be announced in the ChaseCulture Discord server. Continued use of the platform after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of ChaseCulture will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia.
